Many don't actually know the route I'm taking on this journey, at least at a high level. That was intentional of course. You know, less time for you to lock up when you hear me arrive. However, the receptions have been so great I've given this some more thought. I want to give you a rough outline and that way, there's a better chance of making our respective schedules mesh. So, from here in Kapuskasing, this is my best shot at the sequence of destinations:
Timmins, Sarnia, Chatham, Windsor, London/Appin, Dundas, Kingston, St-Mathieu, Gaspesie, Charlottetown, Halifax, Fredericton, Trois-Riviere, Ottawa, North Bay, USA. My arrival back in Red Deer should be around late August.
This a plan and we all know plans usually are deviated from. That's my CYA statement.

Bob,
ReplyDeleteVery entertaining travelogue, thanks largely to your marvellous sense of humour which I'm glad you haven't left on the asphalt somewhere. The riding experience and meeting up with, and being treated by, many old acquaintances is going to make this a trip of a lifetime. And save you a lot of money too.
Interesting comments about Ontario's police state. They're doing their best keeping the civil servants and bureaucrats busy but, of course, somebody has to pay for that. Who better than adventurous and wayward out of province bikers.
Most importantly though, glad it's been a safe trip so far and you haven't been eaten (yet) by any carnivores or insects.
Good move also getting the breakdown coverage, though I understand that's standard procedure for Harley owners.
Keep up the daily log ....we'll be following you.
Russell & I are off to California on the 3rd and you've further whetted our appetites.
Ride safely!
